Extending the urban transport

Volocopter VoloRegion is an idea born from the concept of extending urban transport beyond the city limits. Airports, Seaports, suburban towns, and cities in the immediate vicinity of major urban centers will soon be reachable in unimaginable times.

Volocopter VoloRegion is an electric vertical take-off airplane (eVTOL), equipped with two upward thrusters and six propellers to facilitate take-off and landing in confined spaces.

This UAMV is designed to carry four passengers at a cruising speed of 100km (62 miles) routes. With a cruising speed of 180km/h (112mph) and a maximum peaks of 250km/h (155mph), VoloConnect will allow to shorten the distances between the city and its suburbs. Furthermore, its low maintenance cost makes it a decidedly cheaper vehicle than a helicopter while maintaining its practicality and effectiveness.
